The Ranelagh Gaels Strategic Plan sets out a pathway for a club that has gone from 25 members in 2003 to some 1,600 members today. Over half of our registered players are girls and women. Our biggest challenge is finding adequate green space for our children’s, and adult’s, team to play games and to train. The strategic plan sets out ambitious goals for pitch and training development; structures and governance that reflect a club of our size; high standards of coaching and mentoring. As a club, we are strongly committed to developing all our players to their best potential and ensuring the club provides a place where they can enjoy playing, can challenge themselves and have fun, and can participate irrespective of background or ability. I would be delighted if you could attend the launch of this plan, which has involved a huge amount of preparation and work over the past two years, and one of which we are proud.
